View the 2013 Sedona Community Plan

This plan has been replaced by the 2024 Community Plan

What is a Community Plan?

The Sedona Community Plan is the city's general land use plan that helps guide future decision-making and development.

Why are we updating the plan?

The State of Arizona requires communities to have a long-range general plan, and that it be readopted or updated every 10 years. {Arizona Revised Statutes, 9-461.05. and 9-461.06}

Where are the boundaries of the plan?

  • The city limits of Sedona
  • The plan does not include the Village of Oak Creek, Oak Creek Canyon, or the Red Rock Loop Road (south of the High School).
